I offer three ways to work together. We'll choose what fits your parent's needs:

Close To Hand | Flexible | Outcomes focused.

This is weekly help for your parent. What it looks like depends on what they need that week. It might be a mix of 2 to 3 visits longer or shorter in length. We plan it together so it's appropriate to what's happening in the dairy or how they're feeling and can span any time across the day.

Maybe they'd like me to pop in earlier. It could be they would like to go out for lunch, or have company to take them on a social outing. Maybe they'd like someone to watch their favourite show with at night. There is flexibility so if plans change on the day, and they need to shift, postpone or cancel, these is no penalty, we simply change.

I'll coordinate any medical appointments and take them along. I attend with them, take notes, ask questions. I can liaise with family as needed and I'll keep you updated if things change.

Just like you would, I'll make sure they have food available, check their medication has been taken and make sure they're getting to their appointments.

I'm available by call or text if your parent needs me outside our usual pattern.

$2,800/4 weeks incl. GST

I work with a small number of families so my availability stays fluid.

Comprehensive Support | Lean On Me

More involved help for weeks that your parent need extra attention.

Ideal for respite care, hospital discharge, post-surgery recovery, or intensive short-term needs.

Ideal for when your parent needs me around more often. It might be after a hospital stay, during a recovery period, or when life is feeling a bit full and they want someone who can keep across everything.

This is a higher level of support across the week. I take care of more of the day to day, stay closely in touch with you and step in when things need attention.

If your parent needs an evening visit or multiple overnight stays, I can include that as part of this retainer (no surcharges apply). Some weeks they won't need it. Some weeks they might. Typically this includes 3-5 visits per week plus up to 4 overnight stays as needed*. It's there so there's no scramble - I'll adjust to what's happening.

If something unexpected happens, or they're unsettled, you can call me and I'll organise what's needed.

I'll keep you updated as things come up so you always feel informed.

$4,800 per 4 weeks incl. GST

Due to the nature of this service I can only take one client at a time, so I can stay highly available and responsive as things change.

* Additional overnights are available $380 incl. GST per night. Nights are considered a 12 hour period.

For parents who want company, social outings and a bit of help here and there.

I might make their breakfast and check they have something for lunch. I can get the groceries done, sort a few things around the home, or we go for a little outing to keep life interesting.

I'll always make sure medications have been taken. If anything is off track, I'll let you know.

$250 for 3 hours, incl GST.

Hospital to Home Support

Getting someone home from hospital can be stressful, especially if you’re not in Sydney. I can take care of the whole process for you.

What’s included:

• I'll coordinate with the ward and collect your parent when they’re ready

• We'll head home, I'll get them settled, and make sure everything feels comfortable

• We can go through the discharge notes in plain English so everyone feels clear

• I make sure your loved one has what they need for the first couple of days, including picking up any prescriptions

• I'll keep you updated once they’re home

Coverage: All major Sydney hospitals.

By request from $550 incl. GST

If My Aged Care is part of your plan, I can help you make sense of the process so it doesn’t feel overwhelming.

What's involved:

• Help gather the information needed for the application

• Organise the assessment appointment

• Coordinate with the assessor and providers

• Keep you updated so you know what’s happening

This is especially helpful for expat families who can’t be here in person, or local families who are already stretched.

$280 incl. GST | 2 hours

The Gentle PA partners with a highly experienced nurse for more clinical based support and advice. Helpful for situations where a qualified nurse is needed.

This may include:

• Post-operative support

• Wound care within scope

• Hospital-to-home guidance

• Monitoring after a health change

• Clear updates so the family knows what’s happening
